Our Partners

As a company whose vision is to build an inclusive community, we are thrilled to partner with the following organizations. These partnerships align with our mission to enhance the quality of life of a person living with a disability.

Working closely with these organizations, and their communities, allows us to receive invaluable feedback on our products, and gets us closer to the big dream of enabling everyone, regardless of any physical challenges, to stay active and socially engaged.

The Cerebral Palsy Association of BC (CPABC) was founded in 1954 by families who wanted to make a difference for their children living with cerebral palsy. Today, that same desire to improve the disability community remains and now it has evolved into an independent, charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The CPABC boasts a wide range of programs and services which provide support, education and information to those who need it most. From recreation to funding to navigation, it is an essential resource for people all across British Columbia. Their goals and aspirations are made possible by their vision: to create a Life Without Limits for people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

Note: If you want to support the CPABC with your Alinker purchase, please click here and we will donate 10% of your purchase price to the CPABC. This money will then be used to provide their members with financial support in the purchase of a mobility aid.

The Centre for Social Innovation & Impact Investing (Sauder S3i) is focused on leveraging business tools to advance social innovation and sustainability, through research, incubation, and application. Sauder S3i defines social innovation as a new approach which fosters initiatives that contribute to solving existing social, cultural, economic, political, and environmental challenges. This encompasses concepts such as social enterprise, social finance, and strategic corporate social responsibility. What it does not involve is simply throwing money at a problem. Rather, Sauder S3i aims to build institutions designed to create value rather than dependency.

Recumbent bikes are an investment: they tend to be more expensive than traditional bikes, and it does take time to find the right bike because every recumbent is unique.

To that end, Laurence Bonilla of Jersey “Bents” LLC strives to help customers find the proper recumbent model according to their needs (e.g. comfort, speed, stability, maneuverability), body type, cycling style (e.g. touring, around-town, bike trails, racing), and budget.
